Product Description
DC Metropolitan Police has commissioned a special purpose coin for commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the signature of the Declaration of Independence and formation of the United States of America. This coin is 1-3/4" in diameter and unique to all previous designed special purpose coins for the department and is exclusively designed for MPD.
A portion of proceeds from each badge sold benefits DC Crime Solvers.
Coins take approximately 5 weeks to make. The first shipments will go out after after July 31, 2026.
Minting & Delivery Schedule
Badges sets and individual badges will be shipped to non-MPD sworn members and civilians after July 31, 2026.
