The United States Marshals Service has commissioned a coin in commemoration of the 250th anniversary of the signature of the Declaration of Independence and formation of the United States of America. This coin is exclusively designed for the USMS.

The coin has a US flag in the background behind the center star and a 250th Anniversary banner draped across the front, with a polished silver finish on the front, and a polished gold finish on the back.
