Special Purpose "Find A Cure" Metro Transit Police Badge

Metro Transit Police is re-releasing the special purpose badge to wear during Breast Cancer Awareness Month in lieu of the duty issue badge. The badges resemble the design concept of the duty issue but with unique added features to recognize Breast Cancer Awareness month. Badges measure 3.25" diameter and are curved with heavy duty safety pin and catch.

Badges are restricted to WMATA Police only and will remain the personal property of the purchaser. Individual purchase per badge is $56. You may request a "RANK" banner or "SURVIVOR" banner. "RANK" badge purchases are limited to 2 badges per officer. "SURVIVOR" badge purchases are limited to 4 badges per member.

Badges embedded in lucite are also available with either the "SURVIVOR" banner or the "RANK" banner. Badges in lucite are $170 each. "RANK" badge purchases are limited to 2 badges per officer. "SURVIVOR" badge purchases are limited to 4 badges per member.

Metro Transit Police "Find a Cure" coins are also available for purchase. Coins are 1 3/4" diameter die struck in solid brass from steel dies and finished with multiple enamels and pure gold plate.
