This lapel pin features the North and South Tower of the World Trade Center in New York that were attacked by terrorists on September 11th, 2001. They are inside a pentagon representing the United States Pentagon, home of the Department of Defense, that was hit by Al-Qaeda the same day. Below the center of the pin are the words LEST WE FORGET engraved on a silhouette of Pennsylvania, representing the crash site of United Airlines Flight 83 where passengers on the plane overtook their hijackers to prevent another attack.
The insignia is 1" wide and has an antique gold finish.
