The Arlington County Police Department has commissioned the following badge for wear to commemorate the fallen officers of the department. This badge is available exclusively to ACPD officers.

This is a duty sized badge struck from steel dies in .102" thick solid brass with antique gold finish, with the focus being the monument the department has constructed to honor the fallen. Depicted is the ACPD memorial statue and plaques of fallen officers. A mourning band permanently rests across the badge with the statement IN VALOR THERE IS HOPE. Past and present ACPD patches are shown on either side of the statue, both of which were worn by officers represented. Finally, fern leaves outline the boarder of the lower portion of the patch representing that there will always be new growth after the tragedy of loss.

Each badge is $65.00.
